Steph Goes Anyway (“we,” “I,” or “the site”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this site collects, how it’s used, and the choices you have. Questions? Reach me through the contact page.
What I collect
- Email address — only if you sign up for the newsletter or download a free resource. You give it voluntarily, and you can unsubscribe at any time from the link in every email.
- Comment details — if you leave a comment, the name and email you enter are stored with it.
- Basic usage data — like most websites, this site logs anonymized, aggregate information (pages visited, general location, device type) to understand what’s useful. It doesn’t identify you personally.
How I use it
Your email is used to send the newsletter, deliver the free resource you asked for, and occasionally share new posts or offers. That’s it — no selling, renting, or trading your information. Usage data helps me see which posts help readers most so I can write more of what works.
The tools this site uses
- Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — my email provider. Email addresses collected through sign-up forms are stored and managed in Kit. See Kit’s privacy policy for details.
- WordPress.com / Automattic — hosts this site and provides its core analytics and anti-spam.
- Google Search Console — reports how the site appears in search results (aggregate, non-identifying).
- Substack — a companion newsletter/discovery surface with its own privacy policy if you subscribe there.
Affiliate links & disclosure
Some posts may contain affiliate links. If you buy something through one, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. I only ever link to things I actually use or would genuinely recommend, and any affiliate relationship is disclosed on the post where it appears.
Cookies
This site uses basic cookies to keep it working and to understand aggregate traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may work differently if you do.
Your choices & rights
You can unsubscribe from emails anytime, and you can ask me to access or delete the personal information I hold about you. Just reach out through the contact page and I’ll take care of it.
Children’s privacy
This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16. I don’t knowingly collect information from children.
